Review: Baptism

Publisher: Quercus
Price: £ 7.99

If you thought you were having a bad day then you just think about George, Maggie and Ed. They are really having a shit of a day!

Warnings and advice:
- Do not read this book in, on, around or near the tube.
- Always take water and nappies on the tube.
- Max Kinnings is evil!

Bloody hell, what a shit scary bok. Taking normal things and making them terrifying...why not do that hey MK and scare the crap out of all us tube riders?? Hmmmm?? Wahhhh!

I loved Ed. He was bloody amazing, love him completely. Also, Simeon....wahhhhhh! Excellent characters all round. Belle and Tommy were perfectly warped and to such an extent that sometimes you just didn't know what to do with them at all!

The whole book is a great spin on terrorism and the 'conventional' perceptions of perpetrators. Most refreshing indeed. A real page turner of a book. Action and emotion and adrenaline packed and I was a big fan of the real time feel of the chapters.

So, don't read this on the tube but do indeed give it a shot. Spiffing read and a very intelligent one at that I feel!

Happy Reading
